This moon cycle we have be focusing on the energy of Guan Yin, Goddess of Compassion and Mercy, and how we can embody that energy within our daily life.

In Queensland and NSW we are in a period of suspension, preparing for Cyclone Alfred to cross onto the land. This is the first major weather event my family have faced and we are all gathered, under one roof, waiting.

Play is so important in our life.

As we grow up so many of us stop prioritising personal pleasure.

We focus on our to do list, work, tasks and duties but PLAY.

But #play is what makes life a delight.

I adore rock climbing, it’s fun, challenging, sometimes scary and allows me to spend time in nature.

The other week I noticed a few lighter hairs had started to come in around my face.

According to my hairdresser they’re natural highlights.

But I know the truth

They’re wisdom hairs ✨

Only gifted to us once we start to step into our wise woman.

Some people receive them early.

For other like myself, it’s a long wait…

In our western society I see so many women trying to hide them, they dye them to cover them up but I think there is something magical about them.

The way they sparkle and shimmer in the light.

And there is nothing more beautiful than a woman who wears them with pride.

So I’ll be celebrating my wisdom hairs.

Loving my beautiful body as it becomes wiser, and I hope you’ll start to rethink them as well.

The sacred flower blue lotus, Nymphaea Caerulea has been my daily companion for a while now.

Her deep cradle holds me, nurturing my dreams as she helps me explore my inner world.

I've found since journeying with her deeply and daily, my dreams are becoming more predictive, lucid, stronger.

I've been able to remember them more frequently and with much greater clarity.

Tonight the new moon is physically in the earth sign of Virgo, perceived perhaps as one of the less exciting signs, its energy is quieter, more internal.

Ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication and intellect this new moon supports clear thinking and rational decision-making.

It’s a good time for problem-solving, strategising, and planning, as your mind is (hopefully!) sharp and focused.

Virgo is practical, so pop aside some time to get your affairs in order, both external and internal, and focus attention on the details.

Virgo is also associated with healing, health, and self-development.
